Hinds County Human Resource Agency is hiringCLASSROOM DISABILITIES AIDES for our locations in Jackson!As the only Community Action Agency in Hinds County, Mississippi, Hinds County Human Resource Agency (HCHRA) has strived to lift its citizens out of poverty conditions through an assortment of services since 1976.
The Classroom Disabilities Aide is responsible for attending to the basic needs of children with diagnosed disabilities, organizing activities that stimulate the children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth, helping children explore their interests, developing their talents and independence, building self-esteem, and learning how to interact with others.
Assists in preparing and implementing daily plans, schedules, and activities.
Assists in planning field trips in accordance with program schedules.
Assists in determining the need for classroom supplies and equipment.
Accompanies Teacher on a minimum of two (2) scheduled home visits per child, per program year.
Qualifications High School Diploma 3
years experience working in a preschool setting with children diagnosed with disabilitiesPass Criminal Background and Child Abuse Central Registry Checks Join our Team today and help empower children to realize their full potential! Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
